Personally, I love this store so much I’ve written an entire blog post on it and all that it offers to parents and expectant parents. It is, in my opinion, the best of the North Vancouver Baby Stores, and is my go-to stop for gear, clothes and shoes in the area. I love all the “Made in Canada” options they offer so you can choose to support local business and be sure what you’re buying is top quality. They have a website for online shopping as well if you prefer to purchase that way, with a Made in Canada tab to help you find those amazing local products!
North Vancouver Baby Store: Pebble Kids Store
Pebble Kids Store is another one of the North Vancouver Baby Stores that provides great options for parents looking for high quality items. With brand like Hatley, Petit Lem, HuxBaby, Hunter and Bogs, you can’t go wrong on style or quality. Pebble Kids is more clothing and accessories based than gear or furniture, but it’s a great options for outfitting your kids for outdoor adventures all year long!
If you’re willing to venture outside North Van into Vancouver, there are a lot more really great options too!
West Coast Kids Baby Store
West Coast Kids is right across the water in Vancouver. It’s another great option for gear and furniture as well as clothes. Much like Active Baby, they carry many local products as well as higher end imported kids goods. They’re another personal favourite of mine, and you can find a full blog post on why they’re so great in my past posts!
Hip Baby
Hip Baby is located on West 4th in Kitsilano. While It has some super cute clothing, bed, bath and cloth diaper options, what I really love about Hip Baby are the things they offer for pretend play! They have so many educational and imagination-based toys to help your kids learn and develop as they have fun!
Parade Organics Baby Co.
Parade Organics is a Vancouver-based clothing and accessories company. All their pieces are GOTs certified Organic Cotton, and their muslin swaddle blankets are made of bamboo. Their 2-way zip rompers are every parents’ dream, as you can change a diaper without fully stripping your baby, and their kimono gowns offer the same convenience for newborn babies.
