I do! Your photos are like personalized art. They aren't meant to be stored on a computer where no one looks at them, but to be displayed in your living room, made into an album for your coffee table, or put on a Christmas card to send to friends and family. Because I know how busy life gets, I help you choose the images for these art pieces and I design and create stunning, professional quality artwork for you through my professional print labs.
Do you offer any prints, canvases, albums or cards?
Babies are unpredictable (I know this, I've had three of my own) and I plan for that. My newborn sessions are two hours long, not because it takes that long to capture all the photos you'll want, but because I plan for you to take time to feed, change and comfort baby. If baby is fussy, I'm happy to take a break while you nurse or comfort him or her, and we'll star again once baby is settled and you're feeling comfortable!
What if my baby is fussy during our newborn session?
I absolutely do! When you choose me as your Vancouver photographer, I create your images with the end result in mind, and I don't mean a digital image. Your images are made to be displayed and enjoyed. For this reason, we treat your images like we're designing home decor. I'll help you choose outfits and colours that suit the style of your home, so when they're on the walls, they feel like part of your decor.
Do you offer help with styling for my session?
This varies from client to client and depends on how many images you fall in love with and what you decide to do with them. My clients choose their artwork and images from an a la carte menu and will spend differently based on their priorities. Larger image collections or feature wall art will require a larger investment. Clients invest at least $1500 but can invest $5000 or even $10,000 in their session if they choose.
What can I expect to spend on a session?
Each session includes a pre-session zoom consultation to assist you with styling and give you all my best tips for a stress-free session. At this consultation, I also show you my samples so we can start daydreaming about how you want to enjoy your images in the coming years! You'll also have a professional Hair and Makeup Artist come to you on the day of our session, a fully guided session with me, and a post-session image selection, ordering and artwork design zoom meeting.
