While having kids tends to add a new sweetness to life, it's also known to make to-do lists long, organization difficult, and priorities clear. You're a busy mama. Which is why I've sourced the highest quality, most beautiful professional artwork for you. All my clients leave with something to display and a stunning heirloom piece to hand down to the next generation.

That tiny little strip turned pink!🎉 Whether you've been trying for a month, for years on end, or this baby comes as a total surprise, this is such an exciting time! And now, you wait.
If you're impatient like I am, you'll likely wish time would speed up, until you finally hit the third trimester and think "I need to savour this!"
That's where I come in! As a Vancouver Maternity Photographer and mom of three, I help new parents preserve memories of this season of waiting and growing and preparing for baby because I know how beautiful, but short this season is. Motherhood can be a wild ride, and my lifestyle approach to maternity and newborn photography captures your experience as it is. I help you celebrate this new life in an unposed, relaxed way that captures the emotion and love in your family.
I so clearly remember the moment each of my sweet children were laid on my chest and I looked into their tiny face for the first time and thought I would explode with love, despite what they had just put me through. I also remember well waking up from a stupor of sleep-deprivation, night feeds and dirty diapers when my baby was about 5 months old and thinking... how did she get SO BIG?! That's why I help new parents preserve these early memories as a Vancouver Newborn Photographer.
My lifestyle approach to newborn photography means you get unposed, real images of your new family. I come to your home to do it, so you don't have to rush to get everyone dressed up and out of the house while you're one week post-partum. I capture your new life as it is: unposed, raw, real.

How did you find me?
Yes I do! Traditional payments are a 50% initial payment to hold your spot on my calendar, and the remainder due 24 hours prior to our session. But, if it's easier for you, I can split payments in three or four equal parts. Just let me know what you prefer, and we can make it work!
I would absolutely love to capture multiple seasons of life for your family! I offer both Bump to Baby and Baby's First year packages so you can capture every step of this life-changing season!
I absolutely do! In fact, all my packages include a pre-session consultation to chat about styling and wardrobe, as well as access to my client closet! During this consultation, we can pick a dress for you to wear and I'll help you find inspiration for every one else in the family so you don't have to stress about what every one will wear!
I do! Your photos are like personalized art. Their purpose is to bee seen, enjoyed, passed down and reminisced over. My packages are designed to ensure you leave your session with something to display, and something to hand down to your kids, so one day they can show their children and tell them all about your amazing memories. You can also always add additional artwork, cards, gift books and digital images to your package as well!
Travelling is my first love, and I'm thrilled to do it for your session! Whether it's the Island, the Okanagan, or even further afield, I want to be there to capture your day. However, for locations more than 2 hours outside Vancouver there will be a travel and lodging fee if applicable.
Babies are fragile, and I totally understand that you might be concerned about your child's safety. Because my style is unposed, I don't wrap or pose baby in any way that might be dangerous to them. In fact, during our sessions, I may give you a hand with a nice tight swaddle, but generally I touch baby as little as possible. I let you and your partner snuggle your little one, ask you to lay them on the bed or in the position I'm looking for. I also never enter a home if I'm unwell. Your little ones immune system is still developing, and it's better to delay our session than risk passing along a cold.
Back in May, The Provincial Health Officer gave the go ahead for photographers and other professionals to enter their clients homes. At this point, our restrictions are for social gatherings and businesses, even those that go into their clients' homes, are allowed to operate. Of course, it's my first priority that you, your family, and particularly your baby, stay healthy. Because of this, all sessions are postponed if either you, someone in your family, I or someone in my family shows any signs of sickness. On top of this, I'm taking extra precautions to make sure you and your family are safe. I wash my hands upon entering all my clients homes; I wear a mask to all my in-home sessions; I wash all swaddles and newborn outfits in my clients closet prior to and after each new session should you choose to use these; I do not touch baby unless I absolutely must, but ask you or your partner to swaddle and place baby. If you still aren't sure you're comfortable with an in-home session during this pandemic, I do offer outdoor lifestyle newborn sessions as well!
