While you might not think a trip to a brewery would be fun for the whole family, there have been many new breweries opening in recent years which offer a great experience for all ages. Today we’re going to discover some of the top kid-friendly breweries near Vancouver, BC, which will welcome children of all ages. They’ll be happy to see your family at any time of the year and will find options on the menu to suit everyone’s needs.

Farmhouse Brewing

Farmhouse Brewing in Chilliwack is the ideal spot for a family reunion or to catch up with your loved ones this year. They offer both craft beers and a delicious food menu at their fam location. I love the blackberry peach cobbler sour, which is one of the most exciting brews I’ve tried in recent years. Kids won’t be left out of the fun here either, as they’ll enjoy the delicious food and the craft soda options on the menu.

Field House Brewing

Located in Abbotsford, Field House Brewing offers a fun day out for the whole family. You’ll be impressed by their very unique range of beers, containing fruits such as lime, lemon, blackberry, and coconut. We highly recommend trying the blackberry lime beer spritz, which is particularly refreshing during the summer months.

Beere Brewing

Head over to North Vancouver to try some of Beere Brewing’s one-of-a-kind brews. There are dozens of different options on their taps, including my favourite, the sour cherry hard seltzer. No matter what type of lager, beer, or seltzer you enjoy, you’ll find options to fit everyone’s tastes here. The staff are known for how friendly and welcoming they are, encouraging visitors of all ages to relax and enjoy spending time here reconnecting with one another.

Central City Brewers & Distillers

Surrey is home to another of my favourite kid-friendly breweries near Vancouver BC, the Central City Brewers & Distillers. This location has been open since 2003, making it one of the longest running breweries that welcomes children in the area. One of the best things about this brewery is that they have a food truck here as well, with a menu of pub classics to choose from. Don’t miss out on their Red Racer beer, which has won many awards over the years. Kids will find plenty to enjoy on the food menu and non-alcoholic drinks to make them feel like they are part of this special day out too.

As you can see, many of the breweries near Vancouver, BC, are very welcoming of visitors of all ages. You’ll find that the staff at these four locations are known for encouraging visitors of all ages to find the perfect drink for them, whether you are looking to try a new brew or something non-alcoholic. Make sure you always book ahead if you are visiting at the weekend or peak holiday times, as all of these locations have limited seating available. It’s a great way to reconnect with your family and friends over some delicious food and drink at any time of the year.
