Beat The Heat This Summer With These Favorite Vancouver Spray Parks

Edmonds Park

Edmonds Park is one of the best Vancouver destinations throughout the warmer seasons thanks to their spray park. There’s a large playground as well as paths that run throughout the space. Their spray park is paved with concrete and offers spray cannons as well as buckets that periodically drop water on the crowds below. 

Queen’s Park

3rd Avenue, New Westminster, BC V3M 1V2

Queen’s Park provides you with a nature-themed spray park where your child can splash around. The turf is painted blue and green to resemble streams and islands. Your child can cross a bridge, climb on the rocks, and stay cool with the different hydrants. 

Walnut Grove Community Park

Walnut Grove Community Park gives you a large spray park where your Vancouver child will have plenty of space to run around. This area is fenced in and has a ground paved with concrete. 

Albion Sports Complex

While Albion Sports Complex is a popular spot for little league games, they have a smaller spray area where your child can cool off by running through their water rings or hopping across the spigots that are flush with the concrete. 

Maple Ridge Park

Whether you want to take a hike or need a place with an all-ages playground, Maple Ridge Park has options for you. Their spray park is the ideal place to spend a few hours beating the Vancouver summer heat. The ground is outfitted with a soft astroturf, so it never gets too slippery. 

Granville Island Water Park

If you want something for kids of all ages, head on over to the Granville Island Water Park at the False Creek Community Centre. Here, you’ll find a concrete spray pad as well as a winding water slide. 

Splash Park at The Shipyards

Splash Park at the Shipyards is a park that’s open all-year-long. This covered space offers kids tons of room where they can splash around while having the best time ever! Once the temps drop, this area is converted into an ice skating rink so the fun never has to stop.
