I’m currently nearing the end of my third pregnancy, and I have to say, I’ll be excited to be done having kids because shopping for stylish and comfortable maternity clothes is such a pain! When I was first pregnant with my oldest, it was easy to go to some of the chain stores for maternity clothes. Though nothing felt unique or really “me”, at least it accommodated my ever-expanding belly. Early in my pregnancy though, I walked by Steveston Village Maternity and discovered what I had been missing!

While their shop is marketed mainly to pregnant women and carries a wide variety of high-quality maternity brands from all over the world, they also carry items for nursing and postpartum, as well as for your babe, so you can find it all in one place.

Steveston Village Maternity carries some of the most stylish maternity and nursing brands I’ve found in the large amount of time I’ve spent pregnant. Legoe, Seraphine, Boob Design, Bravado and Roolee can be found in their shop and on their site. They also carry some of the best brands for your baby, such as Parade Organics, Tea Collection, and Bambi and Birdie.

Being my third pregnancy, a lot of the items I purchased when I was pregnant the first time have worn out by this point in pregnancy number three. Just a few months ago I started looking to update my maternity wardrobe, preferably with some basics and a few pieces I could wear after baby. I found myself without a pair of jeans and started looking everywhere I went in the past. I’m not sure if it’s the current pandemic or what, but suddenly every large chain store that catered to pregnancy are gone. There are currently so few stores in the Vancouver area that sell maternity clothes. I actually went months without a pair of jeans.

Steveston Village Maternity to the rescue. It’s one of the few places in the area that has a great selection of maternity clothes. And it’s somewhere I would highly recommend if you’re shopping for your maternity session!
