Styled Engagement Session in Langley, BC
There are few things I love more than seeing a vision come to life. Even if it isn’t my own vision. When Danielle from Grace & Harmony Events asked me to be a part of this styled engagement session, I was thrilled for the chance to be part of it. Crisp, deep fall colours filled my head and I love how they came out in this session.
It was a gorgeous, crisp Sunday afternoon – exactly the type of fall afternoon I dream of when I have a scheduled session. I met Danielle at Williams Park in Langley, along with the other vendors involved in the shoot. She and Vanessa from Red Roses Decor & More were busy at work setting up a cozy and intimate blanket for our couple. They incorporated rich, deep red flowers, pumpkins, candles, a beautiful bouquet from Gloria’s Flowers, and darling little pumpkin cookies made by Sarah’s Beautiful Baking.
Once set up, we waited for our couple to arrive. When Felicia of Vancouver Mobile Make-up had finished hair and make-up, our couple arrived. Tyesa and Mike could not have been more perfect for this engagement session! Their love for one another was so evident. They were fun and relaxed and so naturally intimate it made my job so easy! They were comfortable and snuggly in this cozy little set up and we had so much fun together. Their laughter came easy and it was evident to everyone that they were a couple that had fun.
The beauty of fall came to life in this styled engagement session. The leaves on the forest floor, the golden sun and rich greens complimented the candles and decor so well. This whole session felt cozy and intimate and made me crave a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Spring seems to be the season of love for some reason, but I myself would much prefer to cuddle up in a chunky cardigan on a cozy blanket in the crisp fall than the warm of spring.
